Clinician primacy
Every clinical decision belongs to the clinician. The product is designed so that the AI's role ends at 'draft' — not 'result'.
Faurenis is built by clinicians, engineers, and operators who do not want dental AI to be marketed at and instead want it to be useful, careful, and quietly excellent.
Our belief
Most clinical AI is built far from the chair. Ours is built in the chair — by clinicians who still see patients, engineers who sat through the visits, and operators who ran the rooms. We are not trying to replace the clinician. We are trying to give them their evening back, their plan throughput back, and a calm validation queue that keeps the work honest.

How we operate
These are not aspirational. They are the things we point at when an internal decision is hard.
Every clinical decision belongs to the clinician. The product is designed so that the AI's role ends at 'draft' — not 'result'.
We use 'implemented', 'readiness pathway', 'designed to support'. We do not say 'certified' without naming a certification body and an audit date.
Demos are designed to look good. Real workflows live in the edges. We build for the unusual visit, not the average one.
We do not market at clinicians. We try to earn the small amount of attention they have.
How we got here
We do not publish a hype timeline. These are the three things we have actually shipped and learned from.
2024 — Origin
Faurenis started in a four-chair clinic in Zagreb where the documentation burden was eating the evenings. The first prototype was a single textarea, a microphone button, and a clinician-reviewed draft note. That posture — assist, never decide — became the design constraint we have held ever since.
2025 — First clinics
We deliberately stayed small. Six clinics across general practice and periodontology, each pilot ran three months, each ended with a written outcome review. The product shape — ambient scribe + chart memory + validation queue — emerged from those six conversations, not from a roadmap deck.
2026 — Production posture
We are spending 2026 on the boring work: data residency, audit trails, EU AI Act readiness, written DPIA templates, and the validation discipline that lets a clinic scale Faurenis across every chair without losing the clinician-final-authority posture we started with.
The team
We are a deliberately small team — clinicians, engineers, security people, operators — based in Zagreb with a small remote footprint across Europe.
General dentistry + periodontology. Every product decision passes through someone who has actually held the mirror and the explorer this week, not last decade.
Web, ML, security. We built Faurenis in the operatory, beside the clinician, and rewrote it three times before we shipped it to anyone.
Encryption, residency, audit, AI safety review. We name the controls we have implemented and the ones we are on a readiness pathway for. We do not say 'certified' until we are.
Practice managers, schedulers, billing — the people who keep clinics running. They are why Faurenis's operating dashboards look the way they do.
We hire deliberately and we are willing to grow slowly. We are EU-resident, hire EU-resident, and pay our taxes here. No headshots on this page until we have real photos — the people are real, the posture is real, the marketing is the part that can wait.
Brand promise — inverted
We are not a diagnostic AI company. We are not a billing or insurance company. We are not a marketing platform. We are not certified — we will say so when we are, with the certification body and the audit date named. We are not the largest dental software vendor and we are not trying to be. We are the layer that sits beside the clinician, quietly excellent, until the clinician forgets we are there.
Clinical data lives in the EU. Residency posture is part of the contract, not a footnote.
Every AI-generated artifact carries the stage, the source, and the clinician review state. The trail is visible to the clinic, not just to us.
Faurenis drafts. The clinician decides. We have written the product so the boundary cannot be accidentally crossed.
We publish what we have implemented and what we are on a readiness pathway for. No marketing certifications. No hand-waving on safety.
The fastest way to know if Faurenis fits your clinic is a three-month pilot on real workflows. Book a 30-minute call and we will walk through the scope together.
