Summary

The Ambient Scribe is mechanically simple, but the workflow change is real. This guide walks a clinician through the first month — what to watch for, what to expect, and what to do when something feels off.

Checklist

  • Test the Scribe on five sandbox visits before the first real patient.
  • Customise your favourite note template before week 2.
  • Maintain the typed-note fallback for one full week.
  • Use the in-app feedback widget to flag every draft that needs improvement.
  • Schedule a five-minute end-of-day review for the first two weeks.

Week 1 — sandbox visits

Test on five practice patients. Get comfortable with the record/stop UI, the consent prompt, and the post-recording review screen.

Week 2 — first real visits with fallback

Use the Scribe on real visits but keep the typed-note fallback enabled. Compare your typed version with the Faurenis draft for the first three visits.

Week 3 — Faurenis as primary

Switch to Faurenis as the primary drafter. Keep the validation queue open in a tab and check it before lunch and at the end of the day.

Week 4 — template tuning

You will have seen the template's weak points by now. Open the template editor and adjust the headings or default phrases that did not fit your style.
