Summary
Faurenis ships five roles. This guide describes what each one needs and what mistakes to avoid when you map your team into them.
Checklist
- Confirm who is the single Owner.
- Assign at least one Admin (not the same person as Owner).
- Assign Clinician roles to every dentist who runs visits.
- Assign Hygienist/Assistant roles with chart scope.
- Decide who needs Practice Manager — typically front-desk leads.
- Audit role assignments quarterly.
The five roles
Owner, Admin, Clinician, Hygienist/Assistant, Practice Manager. Each role has a default scope that follows least-privilege.
Common mistakes
Two mistakes recur: making everyone an Admin "to avoid permission issues", and not assigning Practice Manager to the front-desk lead who actually runs scheduling. Both create operational friction.
Audit cadence
Run a 15-minute role review every quarter. The audit log will show role changes and grant-of-access events.
