Rolling Faurenis into a single clinic
A six-week playbook for getting from procurement signature to "Faurenis is part of how we work".
Summary
Most clinics succeed on the same six-week timeline. The variables that drive success are choice of champion clinician, the daily validation review, and template customisation. This guide is a runbook for each.
Checklist
- Identify one champion clinician and one champion assistant before week 1.
- Configure the clinic profile, chairs, and operating hours.
- Schedule a daily 10-minute validation review for the first three weeks.
- Customise at least three templates to the clinic's preferred style.
- Set MFA-required policy for admin and owner roles.
- Connect Google Calendar (optional but recommended).
- Brief the front desk on patient-consent language.
Week 0 — pre-flight
Map your current note style, your PMS, and your calendar. Decide which clinician will be the champion. The champion is not necessarily the senior partner — it is the person most willing to spend two weeks adjusting.
Week 1 — sandbox
Run Faurenis in a sandbox with test patients. Customise your first template. Train the front desk on the patient-consent script.
Week 2 — first real patients
The champion uses Faurenis on real visits with a fallback to the old workflow. The Faurenis CS engineer reviews the first ten notes with the champion.
Week 3 — second clinician
A second clinician joins. Templates are customised. The admin starts reviewing the validation queue daily.
Weeks 4–5 — full team
Hygienists and assistants onboard. Perio charting moves to voice. The validation queue is reviewed by the admin role each morning.
Week 6 — steady state
Everyone uses Faurenis by default. The CS engineer steps back to monthly check-ins. Outcome metrics start showing up.
