Transcript
HostPetra, walk us through a day before Faurenis.
PetraFirst patient at 8. Last at 5. Notes from 6 until 8. By the end I was reconstructing the morning visits from memory. The 7 pm note quality was not the same as the 9 am note quality.
HostWhat did week 1 with Faurenis feel like?
PetraAwkward. I felt the recording button. I was checking the transcript instead of looking at the patient. I gave myself a week to just feel that.
HostWeek 3?
PetraInvisible. I forget it is there. I see the patient, I treat the patient, I look at the draft, I edit it, I move on.
HostWhat about the patients?
PetraMost do not mention it after the consent conversation. One patient asked if Faurenis could hear her tinnitus. I told her no. She thought it was hilarious.
HostWhat changed in your end-of-day energy?
PetraTwo more hours of life back. I run now. I did not run before.
HostPetra, thanks.
PetraPleasure.
